When the factory burst flaming
I guess no one was remaining'
To say to a coworker "What the HELL?"
Not a second to scream a name
Of family, pal, or lover
The only sound - catastrophe' s voice
Announcing, "It's all over"
True? Where there bodiies? Parts?
Kneecaps? Brains? Arms? Hearts?
The police chief and fire chief, tv anchor and the mayor
Looking serious and sad, offered all a prayer
That even God admitted was ,somehow, late
(Not to mention the words exact repeats from an earlier date with fate)
And those who still were seeking the perished and the burned
Wondered if the commoners would ever get our turn
Wondered if the causes would ever be revealed
Or as, so often somehow happens, would be listed:
REMAINS CONCEALED.

More American men and women were killed on our jobs than all those killeld in the Vietnam War although some claim that more Ameriican Vietnam vets perished, over the years, AFTER the war from allcoholism, drugs, suicide, depression and exposure to Agent Oraange and other lethall chemicals released upon Vietnam by the US armed forces.
